Issue Position: I Oppose Frivolous Legislation

Issue Position

During each legislative session, hundreds of bills are introduced and many of them have no practical impact at all. Bills to recognize the contribution of some company, or non-binding resolutions to suggest a course of action to a state agency. Each measure costs taxpayers money in administrative costs and waste time in the legislature that could, and should, be spent working on the many challenges our state faces. I pledge that if elected, I will not introduce any legislation that does not have a practical application.
